Each branch comprises of several connection branch sections. This plant usually grows on other trees or damp valleys. Hatiora gaertneri prefers mild sunlight and is partial shade tolerant. It would go into a short dormancy in hot summer and should be removed to a cool and shaded place. Rose red or red flowers bloom in October to next February.
